Bee-ah
This beer, I am proud to say is brewed in a lovely little city "up north" called...Portland, MAINE!!! The St. John's Brewers works with Shipyard Brewing Co. to get it down here. When I first tried it, I accidentally ordered the mango version. Which of course, as all fruity beers are, was offensive and gross. So, unfortunately, I had to have another round to give the ol' "Summer ale" a try. It was yummy.
Below is the island's only Public Library. Which is currently undergoing renovations so I couldn't go inside. But isn't it lovely?
Colors of the Carib
Boat and such
Best deal on the island.
Me cabin...aaarrrgggh. Note the long green/blue/white design tapestry in the back left leads to the "head" and "berth".
The "sails"...sort of.
My two options for transportation. I usually opt for the kayak. Even tho it seemingly ALWAYS gets my butt wet, it's less embarrassing than trying to row to shore.
and there she is, "Secret".
and...folks, I'm sorry to say but finding place to upload photos, that doesn't cost a fortune and/or isn't SUPER annoyingly slow, is not so easy. So, I'll probably just be posting once a week or so. So, to my dear devoted fans...I'm sorry.

Walkin'
One thing that's taken me awile to get used to, not that I have yet, is water conservation.
These little sh*ts are ALL over the campground. And this is a baby. They, like the sand crabs, seem drawn to the outhouse. A little unsettling when you're "doin' your business."
I don't want this photo on here, but it won't let me erase it...so, this band was called "The Ish."
This is my first night "on the town." The women in the photo is Nina, a retired commercial fisherman from Alaska. Now she constructs potato cannons and paints landscapes. Hmmm...

A common St. John's saying..."We're all here, 'cuz we're not all there." Get it?

The beginning...
"Rockin' out" on New year's eve. Love the salty air-hair...p.s. I was in bed by 9pm.
Tree near "Vie's snack shack" down the road from my campsite. (Rosemans, notice "tree face")
Let's pretend this is me. Went snorkeling for the first time yestarday. (Dad, thanks for the gear!) Saw the coolest fish...small yellow striped ones, big brown ones with snouts and skiddish baby blue ones. And I thought they only existed in aquariums!
My "front yard."
Entering St. John's from the ferry 12/30.
